Urhobo College, Uvwie, who initially bowed out in one of the semifinals of the 2025 Zenith Bank/Delta Principals’ Cup, has now been advanced to the final instead of the third-place match following the disqualification of Otokutu Grammar School, Ughelli South, for fielding an ineligible player in the semifinals.

Otokutu Grammar School had won the semifinal match 3-0 and was set to face Ogbe-Ijoh Grammar School, Warri South West, in the final. However, following a protest, an investigation was carried out, leading to the reversal of the result, and Otokutu will now contest the third-place match against Justice Peace & Success Academy, Aniocha South.

Originally scheduled for October 16, the final has been postponed due to the investigation, which the organisers have deemed valid.

With the protest and investigations now concluded, the organisers have committed to announcing new dates for both the third-place and final matches of the competition.

The final will be held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, on a date yet to be confirmed, commencing with the third-place match between Justice Peace & Success Academy and Otokutu Grammar School, followed by the final clash between Urhobo College, Uvwie, and Ogbe-Ijoh Grammar School, Warri South West.
