The Adamawa State Government has cancelled all activities planned for the crossover night scheduled to be held on December 31, 2025, to usher in the new year on January 1, 2026, at the Unity Fly-Over in Jimeta, Yola.

In a statement, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, the chief press secretary to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, said the cancellation followed credible intelligence reports bordering on security.

Wonosikou said the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of the state government.
