10 More Nigerians To Be Deported From US For Diverse Crimes

The United States has intensified its crackdown on what it described as “worst of the worst crimes” allegedly perpetrated by some Nigerians in the US, amidst sustained efforts by the President Donald Trump administration to deport them.

From the official website of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cited on Friday, another batch of 10 Nigerians have been slated for deportation, following 124 others that were earlier   listed in July to be deported according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The individuals were listed for offences ranging from fraud and identity theft to child-related and drug offences and they have been identified as individual criminal immigrants arrested by ICE.

The 10 Nigerians and the offences listed against them are: Temitope Bashua — Fraud by wire, identity theft and fraud — Allenwood, Pennsylvania; Ojehoro Lewis — Cruelty toward child — Conroe, Texas; Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe — Fraud by wire — Louisville, Kentucky and Daniel Oworen — Dangerous drugs — Conroe, Texas.

Others include; Raymond H. Ekevwo — Fraud by wire — Oxford, Wisconsin; Franklin Dikeocha — Sex offence against child – fondling — Dallas, Texas; Johnson Ogunlana — Fraud and identity theft — White Deer, Pennsylvania; Chukwuemeka Okorocha — Fraud by wire, dangerous drugs, possession of weapon and aggravated assault, non-family gun — Allenwood, Pennsylvania; Tunde Korede — Conspiracy — Allenwood, Pennsylvania; Chukwuemeka Chinye — Larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy — Pollock, Louisiana.

“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said.

On July 9, 2026, the US government had published the names and photographs of the 124 Nigerians, who were listed in connection with various criminal offences. However, it did not provide specific dates for the deportation of the Nigerians listed.

In a similar development the latest update does not provide a deportation date or timeline for any of the 10 Nigerians added to the register. It is not certain yet if the latest individuals have been deported.
