Two pilgrims from Kebbi State (male and female) have died in Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The chairman of the state’s Pilgrim Welfare Agency (PWA), Faruku Musa Enabo, announced their death in a statement issued yesterday to journalists in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

He said the deceased female pilgrim died on Saturday while the male died yesterday during a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites in Saudi Arabia.

The deceased male pilgrim, Muhammad Suleiman, hailed from Argungu local government while the female Malama Lauratu Jega was from the Jega local government area of Kebbi State.
