The foundation said beneficiaries who were mostly less privileged women and children were selected across the four chiefdoms of Jaba, Kagoma, Barde, and Bajju in Southern part of Kaduna State.

At the enrolment of the 200 women and children for free health insurance by Caleb Danladi Foundation held in Kwoi, Jaba local government area, the director-general Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Agency (KADCHMA), Alhaji Abubakar Hassan, commended the group for addressing healthcare disparities.

KADCHMA boss who was represented by the director of administration and finance, Suleiman Mustapha said the NGO’s commitment to societal welfare and its role in advancing the state’s healthcare agenda should be emulated by other organisations.

The founder of Caleb Danladi Foundation, Caleb Danladi Bako said as someone who grew up in the village he was moved to assist the downtrodden by enrolling them into the health insurance scheme to have access to free medical care and reduce maternal mortality.
