The President also expressed confidence in the ability of the Chairman of the National Youth Commission (NYC), Shehu Dikko, and the Director General of the Commission, Bukola Olopade to continue elevating Nigeria’s stature in the sporting arena.

Tinubu extended his gratitude to the government and people of Delta State for hosting the 9th edition of the National Youth Games.

Represented by the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor assured attendees that the State would continue to be a welcoming host as a home to many athletes that represent the country in various national and international sporting events.

“This is more than just a sporting event, it is a celebration of our youth, unity, and the nation’s promising future in sports, which brings us together as one people,” stated Oborevwori.
