“Ilorin, Kwara State, will once again welcome Africa’s brightest minds in technology and innovation at the Kwarabuild Tech Conference 2024 (#KBTC24), taking place from November 21st to 23rd, 2024.

“Now in its 7th edition, #KBTC24 continues to be a driving force in fostering technological growth, collaboration and innovation, attracting founders, investors, corporate leaders and government representatives from across the continent”, he said.

Kehinde, who addressed the media alongside co-founders of Kwarabuild, Ibraheem Zulkifli, Mohammed Yahaya and  Adeola Olaleye, stated that the group was formed to offer solutions to challenges facing the country.

He disclosed that participants at the conference would learn how to use artificial intelligence (AI) to be able to grow businesses and improve their skills set.

Kehinde added that the participants would also have their potential unlocked with manifestation of its impact on agriculture, education and others for the advancement of the nation’s economy

“We started Kwarabuild to address ecosystem so as to provide solutions to our numerous challenges in Africa through the use of technology. So many things are lacking in our ecosystem in Nigeria. We have a lot of youths that can think outside the box. What is not available is resources to produce more. If resources are available and evenly distributed, our vibrant youths can create solutions to our numerous problems, especially one that can help reduce extreme poverty in Africa”, Kehinde said.

A co-founder of Kwarabuild, Ibraheem Zulkifli, said the conference would encourage participants to develop interest in tech space, adding that :” We used to travel to Lagos but when we found Kwarabuild, that has changed. We want to use our platform to grow talents, advance technology and export same to the world. We want to partner successful people in tech areas for the development of our state.”

Another co-founder, Mohammed Yahaya, said his group was partnering different communities for tech growth, adding that “about six hubs have come up in Kwara in the last seven years that we have been organizing the conference”.
