Chief Emmanuel Julius Ukachukwu has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo federal constituency of Ebonyi State in the 2023 elections.
The primary election was conducted at Obiozara in Ohaozara local government area of the State at the weekend.
Ukachukwu polled 150 votes as against 20 votes scored by his opponent, Igboke Felix Ogbonna, who is the incumbent chairman of Onicha local government area.
The candidate, shortly after his emergence, thanked the people of his constituency for the overwhelming votes just as he assured them of robust representation if he wins the general election in 2023.
