Mohammed who scored 121 votes in the primary election defeated Dr Mrs Caro Nwosu who got only 38 votes while the total number of invalid votes was seven at the primary election held  yesterday in Abuja.

Engr Yakubu Kingsley Mohammed who spoke immediately after he was declared winner by the party’s national chairman Dr Leonard Nzenwa, promised that his administration will create equal opportunities for men and women and an improved welfare package for workers and initiate a technology-driven education and healthcare system.

“I will secure Nigeria and the lives and properties of Nigerians across all the six geopolitical zones if I emerge the winner come 2023.

“I will have the political will to secure our country. This means putting our security above all else: no security, no country. Political will is the willingness and ability to take tough decisions to secure Nigeria,“ he said.
