2024 FIFA U-20 Women World Cup: Falconets Know Opponents Wednesday

Nigeria U-20 women’s national team will get to know their next opponents next week when the draws for the tournament take place.

The official draw will take place on 5 June 2024, at Hall 74 in Bogotá, Colombia.

The 24 teams that qualified for the competition were allocated into pots based on their performances in the five previous U-20 Women’s World Cups, five bonus points are added to each of the confederation’s current champions that won the respective qualifying tournament.

The hosts Colombia are automatically seeded and assigned to position A1.
Teams of the same confederation will not meet in the group stage.

Falconets which has reached the final of the tournament twice, losing both to Germany were seeded in pot two alongside Brazil, Mexico, the United States of America (USA), the Netherlands, and New Zealand.
Host, Colombia is in pot one with Spain, Japan, France, North Korea, and Germany.
