Super Falcons Defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance against Cameroon on Friday.
Randy Waldrum’s side played out a 0-0 draw with the Indomitable Lionesses at the Stade de la Reunification, Douala.
Despite failing to record a win in the game, Plumptre was happy with the Super Falcons display.

“We will take it game by game. Obviously, the target is to qualify for the Olympics. We have not been at the Olympics, I don’t know for how long,” Plumptre stated during her interaction with the media after the game.

“So, we don’t look past the game we have now. The focus now is on Cameroon, obviously there are more qualifying games to come.

“We will put in a performance like we did today in the second leg. Getting a draw is good. We didn’t get a win today but we will try and do that next time.

“We will take the performance to the next game and obviously, we will win and make it to the next round. We would like to take it game by game.”
The reverse fixture will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Monday.
