2026 W’Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles Draw South Africa, Benin, Others

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face regular foes South Africa and former coach, Gernot Rohr in a bid to qualify for the next FIFA World Cup holding in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Drawn in Group B, Nigeria will face Benin Republic, now managed by Rohr along with Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Lesotho.

The draws ceremony was held on Thursday in Abidjan, Cote’d’Ivoire.

The winner of the group will automatically qualify for the expanded World Cup to be co-hosted by the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada.
