Hon Jajere Applauds Young Yobe Scholars For World-Class Feat

Member representing Fika/Fune federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Mohammed Buba Jajere, has commended the remarkable academic achievements of three outstanding girls from Yobe State who earned global recognition at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.

The trio—Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Khadija Kalli Kashim—emerged among the top winners in the prestigious international academic competition, which brought together students from over 30 countries across different continents.

Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu was named Overall World Best in English Language Skills, a rare accomplishment that placed her above participants from English-speaking nations. Rukayya Muhammad Fema emerged as the World Best in Debate, showcasing her critical thinking and eloquence, while Khadija Kalli Kashim was honoured with the Outstanding Talent Award (Gold Medal), celebrating her creativity and unique gift.

Hon. Jajere described their victories as a shining example of what the Nigerian child can achieve with the right support system, adding that their performance is a beacon of hope for education in Northern Nigeria and the country.

Their triumph on the global stage is a source of immense pride, as it showcases the intellectual capacity, discipline, and confidence of our young people.”

He further noted that excelling in a competition of such international magnitude, especially in categories dominated by native speakers, is a testament to the girls’ determination, resilience, and talent.

The TeenEagle Global Finals is one of the world’s most respected international academic contests. It is designed to test teenagers’ abilities in English language skills, debate, public speaking, and talent presentations.
