Taraba State commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas as the most suitable leaders to steer the affairs of Nigeria and Taraba State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Jalingo, who also serves as the state coordinator of the City Boy Movement, said both leaders have demonstrated purposeful, result-oriented leadership through policies that are positively impacting citizens’ lives.

Speaking in Jalingo, the commissioner commended Governor Kefas for the people-centered governance, particularly in the administration’s free education policy.

According to her, the policy has eased the financial burden on families and enabled thousands of children across the state to return to school.

“The free education initiative has brought relief and renewed hope to many parents who previously struggled to cater for educational expenses. It is already shaping a brighter future for children in Taraba State,” she said.

Barr. Jalingo further praised the governor’s agricultural initiatives, as the efforts to improve farming and boost food production were gradually enhancing livelihoods, especially in rural communities.

She also lauded the administration’s security interventions, saying improved security across the state has created a safer environment for residents and investors.

On the national front, the commissioner expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, stating that his economic and governance policies were laying a solid foundation for long-term national growth and stability.

According to her, the combination of Governor Kefas’ grassroots-oriented leadership and Tinubu’s national vision positions both leaders as the best options for continuity in 2027.

She urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Taraba State, to support sustained leadership, and stressed that continuity would help consolidate ongoing development efforts and deliver greater democratic dividends to the people.
