The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Kolawole, made this known in a press conference heralding activities for the university’s third convocation, which kicked off operations in 2019.

He added that the combined third convocation and seventh matriculation ceremonies would be held from March 17 to 20, 2025, on the university campus in Yaba, Lagos.

Kolawole, who compared the number of graduates, stated that “twenty-eight students bagged a first class, 65 students bagged 2nd class upper, 25 students earned 2nd Class lower degrees, while three per cent of the total got a 3rd class. The configuration of the first-class degrees is thirteen male and fifteen female students. Our overall Best Graduating Student is Farouq Adedolapo Animasaun, who got a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.95 and is from the Computer Science Department.

“Also, we are proud to graduate our first set of nursing and midwifery students, six of them, and science and laboratory students, two of whom are among the 122 graduates. The Nursing Students have obtained three professional certificates in their field besides the one from Trinity University.”
