They include Abubakar Abdul Buba (Niger) who dumped PDP for the APC; Sani Yakubu Noma (Kebbi) moved from PDP to ADC; Ibrahim Mohammed Bunza (Kebbi) defected from PDP to APC; Mudashiru Alani (Osun) switched alliance with PDP to Accord and Olusoji Adetunji (Osun) decamped from PDP to Accord.

Others are Thaddeus Attah (Lagos) who defected from the Labour Party (LP) to ADC; Bashir Usman Zubairu (Kaduna) dumped APC for ADC and David Abel Fouh (Taraba) jettisoned APC for PDP.

In the meantime, the House adjourned plenary to Wednesday in honour of a deceased member, representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency of Kano state, Ho. Muhammad Hassan.

Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, who presided over the session, described the development as a dark moment for the House, noting that the deceased was a committed member of the Committee on Constitution Review.
