The sad incident happened last Sunday at the palace of Emir Sanusi at Kofar Kudu in Kano, which led to the injury of many and vandalism of properties, including police vans.

The commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Bakori, revealed this on Wednesday when he hosted new Executives of Kano state Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) on a courtesy visit in his office.

According to him, the committee inaugurated on Monday is expected to submit its report within seven days.

Regarding the Correspondents’ Chapel’s visit, CP Bakori pledged continued collaboration with chapel members to promote community policing.
