At least 27 people, including nine children, have died in flash flooding that has swept through Kerr County in Texas, United States.
Authorities said yesterday that 27 girls were missing after the floods devastated a Christian summer camp located on the banks of the Guadalupe River, according to the BBC.
US President Donald Trump said his administration was working closely with local authorities to respond to the emergency, adding that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was on her way to Texas.
Locals turned to social media to look for their missing loved ones, the BBC added.
