While Adamawa State has experienced weeks of tension occasioned by the recently-concluded governorship election, it’s time for the people to come together and enjoy a night of laughter and good vibes with ‘Socket Unplugged’.
The event was designed to bring back happy moments and showcase the creativity that the “Land of Beauty” is known for.
Speaking to LEADERSHIP, Micheal Samuel said as Adamawa celebrates its choice of leadership, Socket Unplugged offers an opportunity to relieve the stress of the past few months and enjoy a night of fun and entertainment with family and friends.
“With Michael Samuel at the helm, you can be sure that Socket Unplugged will be an unforgettable experience for all,” he said, adding that the efforts were to make the people happy.
Michael Samuel, also known as Socket CFR, is a talented stand-up comedian and entertainer who is bringing his unique brand of humour to Yola, Adamawa State capital.
With the event, Socket Unplugged, Michael aimed to promote smiles, laughter, and socialisation while discouraging young adults from engaging in social vices such as drug abuse, cultism, cybercrime, and armed robbery. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than the last, with an expected attendance of over 3,000 young Nigerians between the ages of 17 and 30.
The organisers said it is a chance to experience an unforgettable night of laughter and good vibes with Michael Samuel and Socket Unplugged in Yola.
