The trial of Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has been adjourned to Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Justice Adeola Olatubosun of the Chief Magistrates Court in Yaba, Lagos State, adjourned the trial, which was earlier slated for this Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

According to Seun Kuti’s senior lawyer, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, the trial was adjourned as a result of the judge attending a training course.

LEADERSHIP reports that the youngest child of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was seen in a video circulating on the internet, hitting a police officer on Third Mainland Bridge penultimate weekend.
