Senator Aliyu Wamakko has consoled the people of Tangaza local government area who lost their loved ones to bandits attack where many were feared killed.
Similarly, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Sokoto State has expressed sadness over the recent attacks by bandits on some communities in Tangaza and Gwadabawa local government areas of the state.

Wamakko, the All Progressive Congress (APC), leader in the state, described the incident as unfortunate and ungodly.
“For this attack, the authorities should urgently take the necessary measures and ensure that the perpetrators must be brought to book to face the wrath of the law.
“I condole with the people of the area and prayed to Allah the Almighty to forgive the deceased and reward them with Jannatul Firdausi as their final abode,” he said.
The lawmaker also prayed for the quick recovery of those who sustained various degrees of injuries, who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Alhaji Bello Goronyo, the state PDP chairman in a statement on Monday, expressed sadness over the deaths and injuries recorded during the attacks.
“As a party, we want to express our heartfelt condolences to the immediate families of those who lost their lives and pray to Allah to forgive the deceased and give the families the fortitude to bear the losses.
“More so, we appeal to the Sokoto State Government to take necessary measures to address insecurity in the state and also assist the families of the victims,” he added.
