Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, on Monday, June 12, 2023, killed three terrorists and recovered arms and ammunitions in an ambush operation in Zamfara State.
A statement by the director, Media Relations, Defence Headquarters, Major General Musa Danmadami, said the troops during the ambush operation to bandits’ hideout at Kairu/Kyaram villages in Bukkuyum local government area of the State, made contact with terrorists and following a firefight, three terrorists were neutralised.
He said the troops also recovered two AK47 rifles, one pump action gun, three motorcycles and other sundry items.
The Director, on behalf of the Military high command, commended the troops and called on the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on terrorists and all criminal activities within their area.
