Berom Youth Moulders (BYM) has urged residents of Mangu, Barkin Ladi, Bassa and Riyom LGAs of Plateau State to be on “red alert” as suspected bandits had declared the impending invasions as the “last battle” with no going back “from inflicting higher casualty on some named villages.”

The villages are in Barkin Ladi LGA, Gassa, Chit, Tapo,  Nding, Rawuru, Sagas, Sagasan Nafan, Kwi and  Wereng-Camp.

Others, according to the BYM president, are Wereng, Kum, Byei, Jol, Tashek, Tanjol, Rim and Sara of Ganawuri.

The president Berom Youth Moulders (BYM), Barr. Solomon Nwantiri, made the disclosure in a statement he issued in Jos, the state capital at the weekend.

He said the bandits had vowed that even if it meant all of them going down, they were determined to carry out the attacks.
