This year’s Nexia Week focuses on the essential principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and the event serves as a platform to showcase the firm’s dedication to the environment, community, and all stakeholders involved, including employees and clients.
Speaking at the celebration in Nigeria, the chairman of Nexia Agbo Abel & Co.(Nexia Nigeria), Mr Abel Onyeke, in his statement during the opening ceremony, reaffirmed the firm’s mission to be the preferred multi-disciplinary professional advisory firm.
He emphasised the firm’s commitment to adding value to its clients, staff and the environment.
Onyeke assured clients that the firm would continue to deliver exceptional service in the critical areas of assurance, tax, and advisory, focusing on maintaining high-quality standards in all engagements.
During the opening ceremony, the managing partner, Mr Alexander Peddler, highlighted the firm’s strong dedication to employee well-being, eco-friendliness, and ethical business operations.
He emphasised the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in fostering long-term economic prosperity, social well-being, and environmental stewardship.

The event, which took place in Abuja, Lagos, and Kaduna, began with an insightful presentation on ESG, where experts shared practical ways to live eco-friendly lifestyles, reduce carbon footprints, improve employee mental well-being, and ensure ethical business practices.
