Kaduna Govt To Support Hospital, Commissions Projects

Kaduna State government has vowed to sustain a purposeful support for the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Barnawa to improve on mental health treatment.

Kaduna State deputy governor, Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe spoke at the commissioning of a COVID-19 intervention complex named after the late Professor Jika.

Others commissioned are an administrative block named after the late Professor Ahmed, emergency blocks named after Brigadier General Lawal Isa, NHIA clinic, toxicology ward, service bay and maintenance block, psychiatric nursing block of classrooms, alternative solar power, electronic health record and a redesigned main entrance gate.

Hadiza said the provision of affordable, accessible and quality healthcare to the masses is one of the paramount responsibilities of government to the people stressing that the present administration in Kaduna State led by Governor Uba Sani was ready to support the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital so that citizens could be in good physical and mental health to carry out their daily activities.
