Speaking at the event held at the Lawma Ikeja Office, In Service Of Humanity (ISOH) Director, Mrs. Nnene Bejide said the act is targeted at the empowerment of low-income earners in the society as they deserve to be recognized for their efforts as well.

Bejide said the foundation is giving back to society through a meaningful channel, as it is committed to providing assistance to communities and individuals in need.

She stressed that it is right to appreciate these individuals who are out early to
keep Lagos clean and encourage them by letting them know they are seen and appreciated, as this intervention will be a quarterly event to aid this set of low income earners while there is a room for expansion to widen the intervention of the foundation course.

Lawma Regional Manager, Mr Kazeem Akeem lauds the effort of the foundation for considering the average Nigerians like the Lawma sweepers for recognition with welfare packages with cash as a noble feat that individuals and corporate organizations should emulate as the beneficiaries cuts across the West, South, East and Central districts of Lagos.
