Shelleng Takes Over As Acting PTAD Boss

The director of the Civil Service Pension Department at the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Mr Sulayman Shelleng, is now the new acting Executive Secretary of the Directorate.

 

His emergence as head of the pension agency took place on Tuesday after the former Executive Secretary, Dr. Chioma Ejikeme, stepped aside following the completion of her mandatory four-year tenure.

 

LEADERSHIP reports tha PTAD is saddled with pension matters under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).

The head of the corporate affairs unit at PTAD, Mr. Olugbenga Ajayi, confirmed the latest development to our correspondent in a telephone conversation Tuesday night.

 

“After a successful four-year tenure, ES handed over to the most senior director in the Directorate, in person of Mr. Sulayman Shelleng as Acting ES,” Mr Ajayi stated.
