Reps To Probe TETFund Projects In Kebbi, Other States – Unyime

The House of Representatives ad-hoc committee on TETFund projects in tertiary institutions has set to investigate the alleged N2.3 trillion meant to execute projects over the years in tertiary institutions in Kebbi State and other institutions in the country.

Chairman of the committee/ member representing Ukanatum/Unukanam Federal consultancy, Hon Idem Unyime disclosed this during a courtesy visit to Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

Hon Unyime told the governor that the committee was mandated to go round the Northern states including Kebbi, to Investigate the activities carried out in both federal and state tertiary institutions in terms of projects executed by the TETfund.

He commended the governor for the good reception and solicitated his support and cooperation to discharge the committee’s assignment effectively.

Governor Nasir Idris, represented by his deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar, assured the committee of all the necessary support and cooperation to enable them discharge their assignment efficiently.

The governor noted that the activities of the committee would no doubt assist the state as many projects in tertiary institutions had been abandoned.
