The governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Mohammed Baba, gave the advice during the closing ceremony of 2022 batch ‘’B’’ stream of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

El-Rufai reminded the corps members that the ‘’objective of NYSC is to foster unity and integration among diverse ethnic nationalities of our great country through its vibrant youths which you represent.’’

The governor further implored the NYSC members to join hands with government, to ensure a violence-free and peaceful society, adding that ‘’the nation places on you high expectations and I pray you will not let us down.’’

El-Rufai also encouraged employers of corps members to assist them to settle down as quickly as possible, reminding that rejecting them ‘’is against the spirit and noble intention behind the establishment of the service scheme.’’
