The troops of Sector 3 Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) deployed at Magumeri in North-East Nigeria have killed one terrorist and recovered arms and ammunition in a successful raid.

The Military Public Information Officer – MNJTF Ndjamena, Lt.-Col. Abubakar Abdullahi, said the feat was achieved when troops conducted a proactive fighting patrol aimed at clearing the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the region.

He said the successful operation resulted in the neutralisation of one Boko Haram terrorist and a remarkable step towards ensuring peace and stability in the area.
