Nat’l Breakdance Championship: FAME Holds Abuja Qualifiers Sept 9

FAME Foundation, a non-governmental organisation based in Abuja, will hold  the national breakdance championship qualifiers in Abuja on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

The event which is being organised under the ‘Play it Dream it Initiative’ is aimed at empowering youth through sports and promoting inclusivity.

The championship, scheduled to take place at the Lycée Français Marcel Pagnol d’Abuja, will inspire and teach valuable life skills to young people – particularly those that are consistently underserved, excluded, or economically disadvantaged.According to the organisers, the Abuja’s qualifiers is coming after six finalists were selected from the Kaduna event, while Kano produced five finalists.

The organisers also revealed that Abuja Qualifiers will produce six finalists that will compete at the grand finale in Lagos in November 2023.

The French Ambassador to Nigeria and other top dignitaries are expected to grace the Abuja national breakdance Championship Qualifiers.
