The Sultan made the commendation during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three partners and official unveiling of the group’s secretariat in Sokoto.

Represented by the district head of Gagi, HRH Alhaji Umar Sani, the revered monarch said, “Your group intervention came at the time the country is experiencing a high rate of unemployment among youths.

“We are very pleased with your commitment toward youth development and empowerment. This is a very laudable initiative. We are very proud to associate with you.

“Sokoto is known for integrity and I will urge you to uphold this virtue in all your dealings as a non-partisan group in order to succeed.”

Earlier, the chairman of the Incorporated Trustees of the Network, Engr Zayyanu Tambari Yabo, said, “The Network core aim is to partner and collaborate with stakeholders for youth development in the state, promote and enhance sustainable professionalism through advocacy and reorientation programmes.

“The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with three partners is a symbol of good tides awaiting Sokoto youths.

“Also, the unveiling of this temporary secretariat is to serve Sokoto youths better for effective communication and interaction,” he said.
