JUST-IN: Tribunal Dismisses PDP’s Petition Against Abia Gov Otti

The Abia State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has dismissed petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorsship candidate against the election of Dr. Alex Otti of the Labour Party (LP).

Delivering the judgement on Friday in Umuahia, the state capital, the chairman of the three-member Tribunal, Justice H.D.D. Gwada, said the petition lacked merit.

Meanwhile, as at the time of this report, the Tribunal was set to deliver judgement on the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate against the electoral victory of Otti in the March 18 election.
