Yobe State Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni yesterday signed two bills establishing the Hisbah Commission, and the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA) into law.
The Hisbah Commission law is to monitor the enforcement and implementation of Shariah and prevent other social vices in the state.
The Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency law is to coordinate and collaborate with institutions in mentoring and training of youths in the field of information technology in the state.
The two laws enacted by the state House of Assembly came into effect yesterday.
