The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has released a new schedule for students ahead of resumption for the 2022/2023 academic session.

LEADERSHIP Weekend gathered that students had been in limbo for months over the new tuition fee. The university slightly reviewed the fees to allow poor students access university education.

The director of Information and public relations of the university, Zailani Bappa, disclosed this to reporters in Bauchi in a statement yesterday.

He said; “The university management has released a new registration fee template for returning and new students.

“This information supersedes all information controversy over the new registration fee in the last few days.”

Based on the new template, fresh MBBS students will pay N150,000, which is the highest. Similarly, returning MBBS students will pay N130,00.

On the other hand, all returning students of other faculties and departments of the university will pay N69,700, which is the lowest. Fresh students will pay N79,700.
