Nigerians’ Attitude Worsening Security Challenges – CDS

Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has said Nigeria’s security problem lies with human security concerning the attitude of its citizens.

He said Nigeria won’t conquer insecurity despite acquisition of modern warfare equipment unless it addresses human insecurity.

The CDS spoke at the international strategic convention (ISC 2023) organised by the institute of corporate institute of strategic research  in Abuja.

Musa, who was represented by the AVM Olasunkanmi Abidoye said there was no need for the nation’s enemies to send spies since it’s citizens freely give out information on its challenges.

He said, “Human security is where our problem actually is. Nobody needs to send any spy amongst us when we freely give out information. No matter how we have UAVs and everything we still need human security.
