Firm Donates Food Items To Orphanage Home

TGI Distri Limited has donated food items to the Little Saints Orphanages as part of the company‘s corporate social responsibility in celebration of its sixth anniversary.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group, which visited the headquarters of the orphanage at Palmgrove, Lagos presented bags of rice, cooking oil and seasoning cubes to the management of the orphanage to enhance the children’s nutrition and wellbeing.

The category marketing manager of TGI Distri, Tony Ogbonna, said that the support was part of the company’s promise of nourishing lives and giving back to the society.

He commended the orphanage for caring for the vulnerable and underserved children in the society.

“We are delighted to celebrate our sixth anniversary with these wonderful children. They are the future of our nation and we want to make a positive difference in their lives. We appreciate the Little Saints Orphanages for the great work they are doing and we urge them to continue in this noble cause,” he said.

In his remarks, the managing director of TGI Distri, Deepanjan Roy, explained that the company’s mission is to connect TGI brands to Nigerians and provide them with high-quality food products that meet their needs and preferences.

He added that the company is also committed to uplifting the needy and vulnerable, especially orphans, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
