Sokoto To Host Zayyanu Tambari Yabo’s Colloquium

Again, Sokoto State will be the venue of the fourth in the series of Engineer Zayyanu Tambari Yabo’s bi-annual national colloquium.

The event titled: “Nigeria in search of an effective political and economic formula for national development”, is designed as a charity and give-back-to-the community.

It has over the years been serving as an eye opener for national discourse to contribute to nation-building, a re-orientation platform for educating the nation’s future leaders and a stimulus for attitudinal and behavioural change for sustainable positive impact in nation building.

The local organising committee (LOC) chairman, Dr Abubakar Umar Kari, said the first and second colloquiums featured high impact presentations and discourse on the role of culture and communication in national development and the role of energy in nation-building respectively, while the third series was on sustainable environment as enabler for national growth.

The fourth series of the National Colloquium 2023 will venture into finding an effective political and economic formula for national development, scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

The convener of the colloquium, Engr Zayyanu Tambari Yabo, is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and also a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.
