Access Bank Wins Qore NEXUS 2023 Award

Access Bank has been recognized and awarded the prestigious NEXUS 2023 Purpose Award for the Best Commercial Bank in Financial Inclusion. This esteemed recognition was presented to Access Bank at the maiden edition of the NEXUS Customer Experience Event, hosted by Qore.

The Purpose Award is an esteemed recognition of Access Banks commitment to using technology solutions to maximize the scope, efficiency and adoption of financial services, ensuring that everyone has access to banking services.

The event celebrated financial institutions making significant strides in aligning their operations with ground-breaking initiatives that are changing the banking sector.  It served as an avenue for individuals within the ecosystem to share their knowledge and collaborate on various subjects within the banking and technology sectors. Financial institutions present at the event were provided insights on crafting strategies for growth and expansion in the evolving digital landscape.

As part of its commitment to leveraging technology to drive financial inclusion and improve customer experience, Access Bank partnered with Qore to use the company’s flagship product, BankOne, to extend the benefits of financial services to every corner of Africa, through a network of field agents empowered with mobile applications that allow for remote customer account opening and instant debit card issuance. This award serves as an affirmation of Access Bank’s unwavering dedication to the economic development of Nigeria and Africa at large.

Speaking on receiving the NEXUS 2023 Purpose Award, Chizoba Iheme, Group Head – Financial Inclusion, Access Bank expressed her gratitude and stated, “This award is another confirmation of Access Bank’s dedication to Financial Inclusion in Nigeria. Our Access Closa Agent banking product, BETA proposition and Direct Sales force are amazing initiatives that have contributed to greatly ensuring that access to financial services is easier and more convenient for every Nigerian.”
