Team New Nigeria (TNN) has asked Nigerians to keep hopes alive and desist from any attempt to revolt against the government as so doing would only lead to anarchy and underdevelopment.

The group wants good governance enshrined at all levels in the country such that the people of the country would be placed first.

Addressing newsmen in Kano on Thursday, the national director on media engagement of the group, Dr Imran Gino, said the movement would engage in mobilising Nigerians towards patriotism and nationalism in order to strengthen the country.

“Nigerians should be patient and should not lose hope in government because there is light at the end of the tunnel and the best can only be achieved through patience and endurance,” he stated.

He urged the government to invest in the people by prioritising human development and building their capacity in various trades to discourage the weak from engaging in vicious activities.

The group which is under the national leadership of Dr Modibbo Yakubu Farakwai of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says it is out to mobilize Nigerians towards positive changes.
