Southern Kaduna Professionals Honour Ex-Commissioner

Members of the Southern Kaduna Professionals (SKP) have honored a former federal commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC) representing Kaduna State, Alhaji Abdulmalik Durunguwa over a two-term tenure.

The event which was held at Unity Wonderland Hotel, Kafanchan yesterday attracted top government officials, traditional rulers and members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

Non-serving Kaduna South Senator, Danjuma Laah, described Durunguwa as a hardworking gentleman who had lived a successful life that included service to humanity.

 

Laah observed that Durunguwa had fostered understanding, unity and partnership across the landscape of the collective existence of the people of Southern Kaduna.

In a key note address, the association’s acting president, Samuel Yakubu, described Durunguwa as a unifier and a worthy ambassador who served diligently as the federal commissioner representing Kaduna State at NPC for two terms.
