Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, is favoured to start in goal for the Super Eagles against Equatorial Guinea at the 2023 AFCON Group A match on Sunday.

The widely criticised shot-stopper is battling with Stanley Nwabili and Olorunleke Ojo for the number one spot.

According to camp sources, Uzoho has, however, done better than his rivals in training.

The 25-year-old is highly favoured to be between the sticks against the Nzalang Nacional at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday.
