Following the incessant killings and kidnappings going on around the country, a UN SDG Ambassador, who also doubles as the Global Vice Chairman, Advocacy for Good Governance & Social Justice Network, Amb. (Dr) Husseini Coomassie, also an ardent believer of Buhari Administration has called on President Mohammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency and National interest, look for a permanent solution to the insecurity in Nigeria, even if it warrants firing some of his security Heads.

Dr. Coomassie made this known yesterday during an interview with some Journalists, at the Abuja Airport on his way to Kano.

According to him, the insecurity situation in Nigeria is an embarrassment to the country and the President in particular, in the eyes of international communities. Therefore, it should be tackled head on to avert more disastrous destructions to the nation.

He pointed out that the President has tried his best in securing the nation, but it seems that his security architecture and strategies have failed to proffer lasting solutions to Nigeria’s insecurity conundrum. There is need to change tactics by going after the sources that feed insecurity and collaboration with locals, war Against terrorism must be won by all means. Insha ALLAH.

He called on well meaning Nigerians to support the federal government to end insurgency, banditry and kidnapping in Nigeria by reporting any unusual movements around them. When we provide timely information to security agencies, especially to the DSS, it will go a long way in fishing out those responsible for the unending problems facing this Administration.
The president has assured us that he will secure the country before he leaving office in 2023. We must, as citizens, contribute our quota to make sure he succeeds.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
