Police Launch Probe After Young Woman’s Body Found In Refuse Dump — PPRO

The police in Benue State have opened an investigation after the body of an unidentified young woman was found in a refuse dump in Makurdi.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Sewuese Anene, stated, “We have already opened an investigation into the matter. The identity of the victim is still unknown.”

Anene assured that the police command is committed to unravelling the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

According to NAN reports, the corpse was tied up, placed in a sack, and abandoned at a refuse dump around Iorapuu Adai Street, Nyima Hudco Quarters, Makurdi.
