An Agro conglomerate, Madugu & Goden Stone Limited has embarked on an ambitious integrated farming project in Gombe state.
The Agribusiness company intends to venture into dairy, beef, and animal feed production to cater to both local and international markets.

Agricultural experts from the group, led by former Minister of Agriculture Dr. Mohammed Abdultawab and Mohammed Ibrahim Madugu, earlier in the week had a productive meeting with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Spokesperson of the company, Captain Yusuf Ali assured that the group is committed to translating their plans into action, making a substantial impact on both the agricultural sector and the local community.
” We intend to export a significant portion of their produce, including corn, soybeans, Irish potatoes, and animal feeds, to the Middle East”.

He expressed gratitude for the cooperation received, emphasizing the Governor’s support in allocating land for the initiative.
“We met the Governor, and he is very cooperative. We thank him for allocating land, and by the grace of God, we are starting immediately. Our team will survey the land, and soon we shall commence cultivation using irrigation systems and mechanization,” stated Captain Yusuf Ali.
Highlighting their commitment to modernizing agricultural practices, the group plans to launch a program to enhance the skills of local farmers, providing them with finance, technical expertise, and equipment. This initiative aims to replace traditional farming methods with more efficient and sustainable practices.
Captain Yusuf Ali revealed that the first phase of the integrated farming system has the potential to generate 3000 job opportunities. Moreover, the group plans to address community needs by establishing schools, hospitals, and worship centers.
“We are not just here for farming; we are here to contribute to the community’s well-being. In the long run, we anticipate creating up to 20,000 job placements,” added Captain Yusuf Ali.
