President of ACCI Chief Emeka Obegolu made the disclosure recently at his inauguration as the 12th president of the chamber.
The ultramodern shopping centre market along the ACCI Complex on the Airport Road in Abuja is designed to transform the business space of Abuja.

The ACCI president, who said there are investment opportunities within the project, also urged private sector players to take advantage of the opportunities to Cree more wealth and job opportunities.

“We must never forget that it is the private sector – not the government – that is the engine of economic opportunity. Businesses, particularly small businesses, flourish and can provide good jobs when the government acts as a productive partner,” he added.

When completed, the project will comprise premium shops, general retail shops, warehouses, cold rooms, stalls, and cafés and restaurants.

ACCI said the complex is being built to enhance the socio-economic activities of Abuja, provide a platform for year-round products for the implementation of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) where other Africans can visit to transact and buy Nigerian products.
