He explained that the 532 newly trained personnel were passing out officers after six months of rigorous training , considering the fact that the FCT command is strategic and the operational base of the NSCDC national headquarters.

The FCT commandant, who further explained that the new operatives were now entitled to all privileges as well as the disciplinary actions that goes with infractions , charged them to as public servants, get themselves acquainted with the Public Service Rules ( PSR) , the NSCDC condition of service, scheme of service and the standard operational procedures.

He said, let me quickly let you know that your being confirmed as a staff of NSCDC does not mean that you have arrived. You must shun bribery and other forms of corrupt practices. It is on record , that those who engaged themselves in unwholesome practices as a shortcut to making wealth found themselves in taking the shorter and ignominious route out of the Corps.
