Europe’s Giants Await Champions League Quarterfinal Foes

The draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals holds on Friday at the House of European Football in Nyon Switzerland. The draw will feature the eight teams that have made it out of the round of 16, taking into account two new conditions that any team will be able to face the seven remaining teams in the draw. And also, teams from the same country and teams that have met in the group stage of the competition will be able to meet in the draw. The first ball to be drawn will be for the home team, while the second ball will be for the visiting club.

The draw is expected to throw up a series of heavyweight ties after a midweek in which penalty shootout drama really brought Europe’s elite club competition to life.
