Hollywood Star Idris Elba, Mo Abudu Team Up For Nigerian Short Film ‘Dust To Dreams’

Hollywood star, Idris Elba, is set to direct a captivating Lagos-based short film titled ‘Dust to Dreams’, with renowned Nigerian filmmaker and media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu.

The narrative of ‘Dust to Dreams’ intricately explores the profound bond between a mother and her teenage daughter, unfolding against the backdrop of their first encounter with the father. This emotionally charged storyline promises to resonate deeply with audiences.

Mo Abudu took to her social media platform on Tuesday to unveil more details about the much-anticipated project.

Abudu shared that the film boasts a star-studded cast. Among them are British-Nigerian music sensation Seal, acclaimed Nollywood stars Nse Ikpe-Etim and Eku Edewor, alongside Atlanta’s Bridget Johnson, and former Nigerian Idol contestant, Constance Olatunde.

In her announcement, Abudu expressed her excitement, stating, “I’m beyond thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration close to my heart!”
