The Forum of Clergy, Tiv Extraction (FCTE), Bali-Gashaka local government council, Taraba State, on yesterday held a press briefing in Jalingo, calling on the appropriate authorities to apprehend those behind the gruesome murder of their colleagues and the others for prosecution.

Pastor Abah of The African Church and his wife were attacked and killed while their breastfeeding son, Kumator Abah who was with them on a motorcycle, was still missing as at the time of filing this report.

The assailants also attacked a passenger bus at the same point where seven passengers were killed including women and children, on March 12 and 13 at Gamkwe village along Mararaba Baisa in Donga.

Chairman of the forum, Ven. Nathaniel Saawua frowned at the manner in which Pastor Abah and his wife were killed and wondered why other Tiv commuters on the federal highway were murdered when there was no war between the two tribes.
